Plan where you want to work
With Places, you’ll find it easier to coordinate tasks between colleagues and between office spaces. Places location plan lets you define and share your proposed location schedule with your colleagues while consulting their plans.
Setting or changing your location is always available in the Places application, but will also be available as part of your regular Outlook calendar workflow. With a simple click, you can adjust your schedule and access an overview map, which shows your closest colleagues who are planning to come into the office, and provides quick access to space reservation for more information. There’s also a link on the overview card that lets you see all your colleagues’ schedules in the Places application.
Thanks to the team tips in Places, managers communicate which days their team should plan to be in the office, and what the priorities are for each working day. Giving team days at the office a purpose gives you another reason to come to the officeđ.
From the location search in Outlook, you can now search for rooms and offices and receive additional information to guide your booking decision. The location finder displays images of the room or office pool, includes a map of the location of the space within the office, and offers details of available technology or other equipment.
