Microsoft Teams continues to evolve their UCaaS platform to offer ever more advanced features tailored to users’ needs. Among the new features to come, Microsoft is introducing silent test calls, which will enable Microsoft Teams administrators to proactively run synthetic call tests to assess network performance during a Teams call between 2 subnets.

Benefits
- Improved call quality: Administrators will be able to identify and resolve audio quality issues before users report the problem, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted communication experience.
- Time-saving: By enabling administrators to test synthetic calls autonomously, silent test calls reduce the need for technical support and interruptions during meetings.
- Confidentiality: Administrators can carry out tests without having to involve other people, preserving their confidentiality and comfort.
Availability
This feature is scheduled for June 2025, and I can’t wait to try it out!
