And yes, it’s time to update your Azure Active Directory Connect (Ad Connect) server for those who are still running a version 1.x installation or even the very first versions 2.0.x.
As of August 31, 2022, all Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Connect 1.x versions will be removed, as they include SQL Server 2012 components that will no longer be supported.
I recommend that you upgrade your software to the latest version and continue to update as you go.
