PowerShell Module v7.9.0 Update

Microsoft has released a new preview version of its PowerShell module, version 7.9.0. This version is now generally available and includes the following updates:

• Updates the Connect-MicrosoftTeams cmdlet to use Web Account Manager (WAM) to improve authentication security.
• Add the DisableWAM parameter to the Connect-MicrosoftTeams cmdlet to disable WAM-based authentication. This parameter is temporary and will be deprecated in a future release.
• Publish the [Get|New|Set|Remove]-CsSharedVoicemailTriageSettingsTemplate cmdlets.
• Adds the SharedVoicemailTriageSettingsTemplateId parameter to the [New|Set]-CsAutoAttendant cmdlets.
• Adds the SharedVoicemailTriageSettingsTemplateId parameter to the [New|Set]-CsCallQueue cmdlets.
• Adds the Channel parameter to the Get-CsAiAgents cmdlet.
• Updates the [Get|Set|Remove]-CsPhoneNumberAssignment cmdlets to use -TelephoneNumber and -NumberType as the primary parameter names, while retaining -PhoneNumber and -PhoneNumberType as aliases for backward compatibility.
• Adds the following settings: AllowCreateChannel, AllowCreateClassicChannel, AllowCreatePrivateChannel, AllowCreateSharedChannel, CreateSharedChannelsByDefault, AllowUsersFromOutsideTeam, AllowGuestsFromOutsideTeam, AllowUsersFromOutsideTeamInPrivateChannel, AllowGuestsFromOutsideTeamInPrivateChannel, AllowSharingWithTeamInOrg, AllowSharingPrivateChannelWithTeamInOrg to the [New|Set]-CsTeamsChannelsPolicy cmdlets.
• Adds the SyntheticMediaDetection, SyntheticMediaDetectionAppId, ConditionalAccessAttendeeVerification, EnablePreMeetingConsent, and PreMeetingConsentContentIdentifier parameters to the [New|Set]-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy cmdlets.
• Add the PublishedEntraAuthenticationContexts, EnableAttributedTranscripts, and EnableGraphTranscriptAccess parameters to the Set-CsTeamsMeetingConfiguration cmdlet.
• Add the AllowMeetingKnowledgeGeneration and VoicePhishingDetection parameters to the [New|Set]-CsTeamsCallingPolicy cmdlets.
• Add the AllowEngagementReport and InfoShownInReportMode parameters to the [New|Set]-CsTeamsEventsPolicy cmdlets.
• Adds the EnableVoicemailTriage parameter to the [New|Set]-CsOnlineVoicemailPolicy cmdlets.
• [BREAKING CHANGE] Removes the Teams Shifts Connection cmdlets: [Get|New|Set|Remove|Update]-CsTeamsShiftsConnection, [Get|New|Set|Remove|Update]-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionInstance, [Get|Remove]-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionTeamMap, New-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionBatchTeamMap, Get-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionConnector, Get-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionOperation, Get-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionSyncResult, [Get|Disable]-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionErrorReport, Get-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionWfmTeam, Get-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionWfmUser, Test-CsTeamsShiftsConnectionValidate.
  These cmdlets are no longer supported.
