New product from Logitech, the Logitech Sight.
In the wake of the pandemic and the widespread use of online meetings, we have all become accustomed to chatting with our colleagues via software such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Now that some of us are slowly returning to the office, we often hear the term hybrid workers, where some employees work from home and others work on site. Hybrid meetings can often seem uneven, as not everyone feels like they are being seen or heard properly. If you are a remote worker, you may quickly feel that you are not fully involved in the meeting because you are not sitting around the table.
Somewhat similar to what Microsoft announced with their Front Row, Logitech has tried to find a way to make video meetings more equitable so that everyone feels included. To solve this problem, the company launched Logitech Sight.
This Artificial Intelligence-powered tabletop conference camera works with Logitech’s Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini meeting room cameras to intelligently capture a better perspective of participants during the meeting and is meant to follow the conversation as it moves around the table.
Logitech Sight is designed to solve the disparity between hybrid teams by giving remote workers a “tabletop” experience when meeting with office colleagues.
Logiteh Sight is scheduled for the summer of 2023!
