Teams Room license update

As of August 19, 2022, Microsoft has announced an update regarding Teams meeting room licenses.

Indeed, from September 01, 2022, Microsoft will start offering Microsoft Teams Rooms Basic and Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro licenses to replace the previous licenses offered: Microsoft Teams Rooms Standard and Microsoft Teams Rooms Premium.

I don’t know about you, but if I was a company with 30+ team meeting rooms that made calls over the public network (PSTN ) and was paying $15/room/month, and now I’m going to have to pay $40/room/month that hurts!
