Unified personal and professional teams

In the upcoming 24H2 release of Windows 11, Microsoft is introducing a unified Microsoft Teams client experience, enabling users to switch easily between different cloud environments, and account types, whether personal or professional.
This long-awaited update responds to feedback from users who prefer a single Teams application for accessing and switching between personal and professional accounts.
Notifications will also be enhanced to clearly indicate which Teams account they belong to, with additional details for personal notifications.
Users will now be able to simultaneously launch personal and business accounts with separate icons on the taskbar, promoting a multi-window experience.
This approach aims to simplify communications management for users in all aspects of their lives, using a single Teams client. I can’t wait to test it all 😁

When?

Microsoft will start rolling out the unified Teams application inApril 2024.
