Microsoft has released a new update for Android-based Teams rooms, version 1449\/1.0.96.2024080804 (August 2024).<\/strong> You can now add customized images to your meeting room front panels, which can be useful for representing your brand, providing instructions or simply adding a touch of personalization. In addition, users of Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will now be able to join Zoom meetings using an ID and access code. To activate this feature, make sure your rooms are configured to allow Direct Guest Join<\/strong> meetings. <\/p>\n

Prerequisites<\/h4>\n

Your ability to deploy customized backgrounds depends on the version of the Teams application installed on your Android devices.<\/p>\n

  2. The account connected to your device must have a Teams Room Pro<\/strong> license.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once you’ve confirmed the above prerequisites, you’ll be able to create a device profile for Android via the Teams administration center. Finally, assign the new profile to your room account.
