Organizations now have a simpler, automated way of ensuring communications compliance. <\/p><div><h4>Why is this new feature crucial?<\/h4><p>Until now, compliance in Teams has been limited mainly to user-level records. This posed challenges in complex environments where calls flow through queues, such as contact centers or customer services. This approach could generate redundant announcements and complicate policy management.  <\/p><div><p><strong>With this new feature :<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Queue-level registration<\/strong>: all communications passing through a queue can be registered automatically, without individual agent configuration.<\/li><li><strong>Less administrative overload<\/strong>: no more dispersed policies per user, simplifying governance.<\/li><li><strong>Enhanced customer experience<\/strong>: elimination of multiple announcements and guarantee that the recording bot is active before the agent joins the call.<\/li><\/ul><div><h4>Key points and limitations to remember<\/h4><ul><li><strong>Conference mode only<\/strong>: this feature is available for queues in conference mode, excluding transfer mode or outgoing &#8220;on-behalf-of&#8221; calls.<\/li><li><strong>Personalized announcements<\/strong>: possibility to configure a message informing the caller that their call &#8220;may&#8221; be recorded, with audio or TTS options.<\/li><li><strong>ISV integration<\/strong>: Microsoft offers a certification program for ISV partners to ensure the compatibility and security of solutions.<\/li><li><strong>Configuration via PowerShell<\/strong> (Teams Admin Center planned for later) :<ul><li><code>New-CsComplianceRecordingForCallQueueTemplate<\/code><\/li><li><code>Set-CsComplianceRecordingForCallQueueTemplate<\/code><\/li><li><code>Remove-CsComplianceRecordingForCallQueueTemplate<\/code><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><div><div><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f449.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc49\"> <strong>In short<\/strong>, this new feature marks a turning point for Teams environments, reinforcing compliance without sacrificing user experience.
