Are you familiar with 2N<\/strong>? I must confess that before writing this article, I wasn’t familiar with this supplier either. However, 2N<\/g> is a major player in the IP intercom sector, and its recent integration with Microsoft Teams, via SIP Gateway certification, marks a significant step forward in communication and access control. Indeed, 2N<\/strong> recently obtained their SIP Gateway certification for Microsoft Teams, enabling native and simplified integration of their products with Microsoft’s collaboration platform. <\/p>

Who is 2N?<\/h4>

Founded in 1991<\/strong> in Prague<\/strong>, 2N<\/strong> started out as a telecommunications company before becoming a major player in the IP intercom market. In 2008<\/strong>, it revolutionized the sector with the launch of the first IP intercom<\/strong>, the 2N Helios IP Vario<\/strong>, which marked a turning point in access management and secure communication. <\/p>

In 2016<\/strong>, 2N<\/strong> was acquired by Axis Communications<\/strong>, a Swedish company specializing in security and video surveillance solutions. This acquisition enabled 2N<\/strong> to benefit from Axis’ resources and network, while retaining its identity and expertise in the IP intercom field. <\/p>

Thanks to this certification, 2N<\/strong> intercoms can now be connected directly to Microsoft Teams<\/strong>, without the need for third-party hardware or software. This means that Teams users can answer calls from 2N<\/g> intercoms as if they were a normal call, whether on their computer, cell phone or compatible office phone. What’s more, they can unlock doors remotely<\/strong> via the Teams keypad, offering even greater flexibility and security. <\/p>
